The summer season is fast approaching, and Memorial Day weekend has arrived! If you are any kind of true Montanan, you know there will be no shortage of fun to be had in the days ahead. We wanted to offer a few ideas for some local festivities, some getaway adventures, and what our community is doing to make the most of remembrance during this holiday weekend.
Memorial Day Flag Placement at Mountview Cemetery (5/28/22)
The American Legion Post 4 invites you to join them in placing flags on soldier/veteran graves in honor of their remembrance on Memorial Day. Joiners will meet at the entrance round-about at 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 28, 2022. The Post will serve a donation breakfast afterward for all volunteers.
Remember to bring your pennies! Placing coins on graves shows that someone has visited and remembered their service and sacrifice. Joiners are also invited to assist on Tuesday, May 31st at 5:00 PM to pick up flags. All help is welcomed!
